​Irina Mc Auley is Ireland based visual artist. Since 2005 she lives and works in Clogherhead, Co Louth. Irina began her career as a painter receiving her BA in National College of Art and Design in Dublin in 2022. MFA NCAD 2024 graduate.

From Critical Zones during MFA her subject matter shifted to the Unknown Zones. She is exploring in her art the mysteries of our dreams and the secrets of the night. There is something inherently exciting about venturing into the unknown. The night, with its darkness and mysteries, represents the unknown aspects of our world and ourselves. Irina explores these realms and delves into the depths of our psyche, gaining insight into who we are. Scientifically, dreams are still not fully understood, making them fascinating subjects for research, which allows to explore the depths of the mind, connect with cultural myths, challenge the understanding of reality.
